A Great Quick Read

I know this is supposed to be a personal finance blog but I reserve the right to move slightly off topic. In everything I do, from finance management to my career in medicine, a certain degree of motivation/inspiration has been needed for me to get off my tail and do the right thing.  One of the best books I can recommend to help overcome those slow days is Life is Tremendous by Charles Jones.

The book is very short and easy to follow.  He really makes what I feel are some great points in a very quick read. His approach to life is very simple yet I have found it to be very relevant and somewhat easy to apply.  The amazing thing about this book is that it was written in 1968 and you would think he is talking about 2006.

By reading this blog I assume that you are not afraid of a little self improvement.  The book does have a little bit of a Ra, Ra nature to it but I normally need that when I pick it up after a tough day at work. Take a look and let me know what you think.  I probably read this book 15 times a year to help keep me upbeat on life.
